Rain stopped by noon. The sun came out . . . slowly.

Freshly picked sweet corn, thanks to Mulder's Farm, was there ready to be shucked.

Get the corn boiling guys! We're going to have neighbors over for dinner!

And our neighbors came, over 400 meals were served, plus seconds.

They are linning up for brats, hot boiled and butter-dipped corn . . .
